Hi, I am Rick Merril
I grew up in Touchet and moved West to go to school, met my wife, Dodi, on a blind date and never made it back to Touchet. We have 4 children, 2 are attorneys and one is in law school. I am currently an attorney in private practice in Everett and one of my sons works with me.
My mother still lives in Touchet and once in a while she even goes to town. Growing up in a rodeo rich community we had much involvement, at various levels and good times with the local rodeos. My father even tried clowning for a while. Tried is the key word in that sentence.
Dodi and I have lived in Snohomish about 25 years on 40 acres, we have various animals including 2 horses that we enjoy on the property. We spent the last 25 years volunteering at the Evergreen State Fair in Monroe, including being on the rodeo committee and the Fairboard, just stepping away in January.
We have been observing the Pro West Association for the past few years and liked what we saw. Dodi and I started our involvement with the group last fall supporting some of the finals activities. We have attended several Pro West functions, including committee appreciation dinners, Miss Pro West coronation and auctions, sanctioned rodeos and other activities involving members of the association. We both are very happy to be members of Pro West and to be part of such a great association.
We do what we can to help all people and know that God is always with us.
